A little bit about myself and what you can expect from Life’s Conversations:
Wife
I married the love of my life, JanMarvin on August 8th 2014, after just 9.5 short years of dating. Hahah! The wait wasn’t as bad as it sounds. We are high school sweethearts, so a lot of that time was focused on getting through college and starting our careers. Together Jan and I are recognized as a power duo and relationship role models to our peers. He’s my inspiration for a lot of the relationship post you’ll find here.

Mama
On June 9th, 2017, Jan and I welcomed the first addition to our family, our son Kai… AKA King Kai! Kai is our greatest blessing. He’s brought so much joy into our lives. Everyday he challenges us to be better versions of ourselves so that we can be better examples for him. He’s that additional push and inspiration Jan and I need to stay on our grind.
Marketing Guru + Freelance Blogger
After my two most important roles of wifing and parenting comes my career and passion. I’m a marketing and finance guru by day and freelance lifestyle blogger by… well in the in-between time. With my Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, I’ve achieved 6 years of administrative and promotional marketing and now work in public affairs for a nonprofit organization where I oversee financials and social media outlets. As for blogging, I launched my first blog back in 2015, took a break in 2017 mid pregnancy, which brings me to where I am now with the new launch of Life’s Conversations.
What “Life’s Conversations” Is All About
Life’s Conversations covers a range of topics. Each week features new stories about my personal life experiences, my thoughts and opinions on everyday topics, relationships, self care, perhaps the little I know about beauty and fashion, and everything in between. Pretty much anything I find relatable and interesting is up for grabs. At the end of the day, life is full of conversations. There is no limit to how shallow or deep these conversations will go. What’s certain is that these conversations will be real, relatable, and relevant.
My hope is to connect with other likeminded individuals out there. Individuals who love life, have something to say, and are seeking to become better versions of themselves with each new day.
